Ovenden Moor from Ogden near Halifax 7.5 miles

A walk up from Ogden water onto and around Overden Moor. Well defined paths with good view. Some walking along a quiet road.

Dove Dale from Alstonefield, Peak District. 8.5 miles

A walk through some beautiful scenery. Starting in the picturesque village of Alstonefield the route drops down into Dove Dale. At the southern end of Dove Dale the route swing up above Dove Dale giving excellent views across the dale and beyond.

Chee Dale from Miller's Dale, near Buxton, Peak District. 5.3 miles

A beautiful walk along the Wye Valley past limestone cliffs. Wooded valleys followed by open country as the walk return by the village of Blackwell. Walk not possible in wet weather.

Miller's Dale to Monsal Head 9.0 miles

A walk along the Monsal trail and return over the hills. Well marked and clear paths. Can be difficult in very wet weather.

A long linear walk along the old Cromford and High Peak Railway line from Parsley Hay, across the limestone plateau, and down to High Peak Junction and on to Cromford.
